Together we created a living city ecosystem: a packed House of Culture, full debates and listening sessions at the Municipal Library, a concert in the Monastery Church, a film screening with a personal introduction by Elijah Wald at Kino Oko, and an exhibition at the Regional Museum. Our programming this year balanced major names with new discoveries and reaffirmed the festival’s reputation for connecting tradition with what’s happening on today’s blues scene. We’re pleased with the positive media reviews. Musicserver wrote about “sensitively balanced headliners and new discoveries”, Musicweb noted a “grand finale” and “companion events filled to capacity”, and Full Moon praised our “world-class parameters with a human atmosphere”.

Huge thanks to all visitors for creating a wonderful atmosphere. Our thanks also go to all artists, partners, supporters, collaborators, and—last but not least—our large and dedicated festival team. Your huge interest and support mean the world to us. The fact that the festival was sold out is both a reward for our work and a commitment to push the quality of programming, infrastructure, and services even further next year.
